The PaddleboatOn a relatively warm night, I walk into a cloud of cigarette smoke just as dusk hits. Two dark haired girls in skirts talk in line ahead of me.
The doorman gives me a once over before opening the door and then I see the members of The Paddle Boat across the way and head over. I like the swanky atmosphere and almost East Coast vibe of the dinner club immediately, the only drawback is the noise, a lot of people are talking, eating and drinking.In the Bungalow with Thieves and Liars

Thieves and LiarsAgain, I find myself at San Diego’s landmark watering hole, The Casbah.
This evening, I strike up a conversation with the fine lads from Thieves and Liars. Corey does most of the speaking for the band but Joey and Kyle steal a moment too as cars cruise past us down Laurel Street and planes make their descent overhead.Lucy's Reviews
